The District is preparing to adopt a new K-12 Language Arts curriculum for the 2022-2023 school year. The Curriculum Department met with teachers and students to learn more about what DDSD needs for its next reading and writing curriculum, and the next step in the curriculum review process is to hear from the David Douglas community. Learn more about the curriculum the District is reviewing and give your input at the upcoming curriculum presentations. A zoom meeting link will be e-mailed out to all families. If you don’t receive the link by the week of the event, please contact your student’s school.
Translation will be available in Chinese, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese. To access the interpretation rooms: Once you have logged into the zoom meeting, you will see a globe icon at the bottom of your screen. Please click on the icon and select your preferred language. You will automatically join the interpretation room. If you cannot find the globe icon, please click “More” located at the bottom of your screen Select Language Interpretation After, select your preferred language and select done located on the top right-hand corner of your screen. You will hear the original audio at a 20% volume when you are inside the interpretation room. If you do not want to hear the session in the original audio, please click “mute original audio.”
